FinishingNotes was created in response to a desire to foster little bits of pleasure in everyday life. After over 15 years of annual sojourns to Italy where I routinely enjoyed the easy grace of living well, I grew frustrated that this simple yet passionate quotidian went flat upon return home. I missed the experience of living regionally, embracing craftsmanship and credibility, living with simplicity coupled with quality and creativity. So here I share my personal guide to a pleasurable and relaxed lifestyle.
